How to reach
From Kozhikode you can reach the beach either by road
or by a backwater cruise through the Korazppuzha river. The backwater
cruise through the Korappuzha river which merges with the Arabian sea
is a unique experience to enjoy the beauty and charm of the surrounding
villages.
Air : The nearest airport is Karipur International
Airport (44kms). Indian Airlines flies daily to Bangalore,
Mumbai,
Chennai,
Coimbatore
and Madurai. Air India has flights to Mumbai and Sharjah. East West Airlines
and Jet airways flies to Mumbai. The Chennai flight also touches Coimbatore
and Madurai.
Rail :The nearest railway station is Koilandy
(8kms) Kozhikode railway station (18kms), located south of Ansari Park
about 2km from the bus stand on Mavoor .
Road :The KSRTC bus terminal is on Mavoor Road,
close to the Junction with Bank Road. Both KSRTC and private buses connect
Kozhikode to Magalore, Bangalaru,
Kochi, Mysore
and Thiruvananthapuram.
