How to Reach Coonoor

Air : Nearest airport: Coimbatore (71 kms)

Rail : The nearest station is at Coonoor and the nearest broad gauge railhead is at Mettupalam (34kms). The toy train (Mettupalayam-Udhgamandalam Passenger ) can be taken from Mettupalayam station (leaves at 7.10 am) to the Coonoor railway station (arrives at 10.30am) .

Road : Coonoor lies also on the Nagapattinam – Mysore NH Road. The nearest bus stand is Mettupalayam and Ooty which can be reached either from Bangalore via Ooty or from Coimbatore via Mettupalayam. Frequent buses plying from all over Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states.
