How to Reach

Two roads, the Umaria - Rewa Highway and the Parasi - Katni Road via Khitauli, pass through the Bandhavgarh National Park. Entrance to Bandhavgarh Park is from Tala, a small village on the Umaria-Rewa highway. There are State and Private buses to Tala from Umaria (32 km), Amarpatan (80 km), Shahdol(102 km), Rewa(105 km), Jabalpur (200 km.) and Khajuraho (310 kms).

Air : Jabalpur is the nearest airport which is well connected by various domestic airline services with Agra, Delhi, Varanasi. The other option is Khajuraho which is more convenient and better though the drive is long and tough. For those coming in from Delhi, Utakal Express is direct train to Umaria.

Rail : The nearest railhead is Umaria, on the Katni - Bilaspur Sector. Utakal Express is the direct train to Umaria from Delhi.
