How to Reach
Rajaji Park is accessible from Dehradun, Kotdwar and
Haridwar and it has several entry gates like Ramgarh Gate, Mohand Gate,
Motichur Gate, Ranipur Gate, Chilla Gate and Laldhang gate.The Ramgarh
Gate and Mohand Gate are within 25 km of Dehradun, the Motichur, Ranipur
and Chilla Gates are just about 9 km from Haridwar. Kunao Gate is 6 km
from Rishikesh, and Laldhang gate is 25 km from Kotdwar.
The nearest town and rail head is Hardwar 10km from the
park. The nearest airport is at Dehra Dun about 50km from the park. Since
the park is conveniently situated for anybody coming from Delhi (230 km).
From Delhi one can get overnight trains to Haridwar and Dehradun. There
are also buses to Rajaji. |
