west of New Delhi on the Agra - Jaipur road.
Air : The nearest airport is at Agra, 55 km from
the park and there are several flights to and from Delhi, Mumbai and other
parts of India from Agra.
Rail : Bharatpur can also be reached by train.
The railhead in Bharatpur is 8 kms away from the park. Many trains from
N Delhi (N Delhi - Mumbai and Agra - Jaipur route) stop at Bharatpur.
If visiting from Delhi - the Frontier Mail and the Kota Janshatabdi offer
good options.
Road : The nearest town, Bharatpur (4kms) is
well connected by road to all the major cities of Rajasthan, as well as
Agra (60km) and New Delhi (175 km via Fatehpur Sikri and Agra). There
are regular buses from Delhi, Agra and other cities to Bharatpur. |
