To lodge, the pilgrims have very limited options. Dharamshalas
are available at Yamunotri. In Janaki Chatti, there is a travellers lodge.
Barkot also has a few places for accommodation. GMVN runs a Guest House
and a dormitory in this area .

to book advance) in Yamunotri, Chouhan Annexe (Ph: 224276) and Indra Palace
(Ph: 224255) at Barkot, Hotel Kalindi (Ph: 01375-233385) and Hotel Himalaya
(Ph: 233321), Deepin Lodge (Ph: 233318) and GMVN lodge at Sayana Chatti,
Hotel Chauhan (Ph: 01375-233309) and Hotel Ganga Yamuna (Ph: 233301) at
Rana Chatti, Hotel Mandakini (Ph: 094129-33148), Hotel Neelakanth, and
the GMVN (Ph: 01375-224236) facility at Janki Chatti etc.
Only local eating houses (dhabas) are available at Yamunotri.
Non-vegetarian food and alcoholic drinks are prohibited in Yamunotri.
