visitors usually stays in Puducherry and there are many hotels, lodges
and guest houses ; however, those who interest to stay in Auroville town
itself one can stay (for a fee) at one of their guesthouses. During the
peak periods (March to August) most of them are fill up so, it is advisable
to make reservations in advance. Those who are looking for a full fledged
guest house book a room in Centre, Kottakarai, Samasti and Sharanga. Fees
at the guest houses ranges from Rs 300 to 900 per day. One can purchase
meals at different restaurants and cafes, including the Visitors Center.
