How to Reach
Neil is very well and frequently connected with Port
Blair.
Air: The nearest airport is in Port Blair. One can fly
to Havelock from Port Blair in 20 minutes in a seaplane operated by Pawan
Hans Helicopters Limited. The services are usually available on Mondays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Water: The best way to reach a boat
ride either from Port Blair or from Havelock. There are daily two boats
to Neil Island and one of them goes via Havelock Island.
Road: Getting around Neil Island is
not a problem. The modes of transportation available include buses, shared
jeeps and taxis.
