There is no accommodation facilties available at Agumbe.
One have to stay either Kastur Aka's house (Dodda Mane) or Agumbe Rain
forest Research Station. Kastur Aka's house is best options to stay (Prior
permission required). It is a century old house with all traditional rituals
and cuisine. It situated just a short walk from the Agumbe bus stand.

Rain forest Research Station ARRS also provides good accommodation. Accommodation
facility is available and they also organises treks inside the forest.
Non-vegetarian food is prepared on advance request. The station also has
a micro hydroelectric unit that helps in maintaining its eco-friendly
policy and operates on solar power. Timings: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.
The other options stay in Shimoga or Sringeri where accommodation
is not a problem. There are variety of hotels accessible for the tourists.
