How to Reach

Air: The nearest airports are Madurai (200kms) and Thiruvananthapuram (140kms). From Thiruvananthapuram one can reach the reserve via Shencottai or Nagarcoil. From here, board the Papanasam bus, and from Papanasam, there is buses directly to the Kalakad Reserve.

Rail: The nearest railhead is at Cheranmahadevi (20kms).
