Various kinds of dormitory and suite accommodation are available at different
locations within the sanctuary. The Bhadra WLS has two Forest Rest Houses.
Contact at the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests in Chikmagalur
to book rooms. The Muthodi Nature Camp (Ph: 08262-234904; Tariff ranges
from Rs 400-450), located in the forest provides two rooms, two cottages
and two dorms (each with seven beds). The dorms can accommodate more people
but one should bring extra pillows, bedspreads and blankets. The Shigekan
Guest House (Ph: 08262-234094; Tariff: Rs 450) has three rooms with two
beds each. There is no electricity here.
There are no restaurants available in the area and meals
are mainly South Indian Vegetarian Recipes which provided by the Forest
Department’s caretaker.
