Nisargadhama also has a forest department run guest house
and treetop 5 bamboo cottages, 15 cottages and slited cabins. Four to
five can stay in each cottage for Rs. 1,500 per night in VIP Brahmagiri
and Pushapgiri cottages and at Rs. 1,000 in the others. Vanasri, a dormitory
(Rs. 2,400 a night) can house 12. You can stay in tents too, for a complete
experience. Reservation for cottages is to be registered with Forest Department
at Madikeri- 0827-2228305.
Food is available inside the island and also there is
canteen near the parking. Else opt for a stay in the nearest town Kushalnagar
which is less than one hour’s drive away also has number of hotels and
Madikeri.
