How to Reach

Air
The nearest airports are Tiruchirapalli (195 km) and Chennai (245 km). From Tiruchirapalli, one can take Indian Airlines flights to Chennai (Madras), which conveniently connected to all the major cities.

Rail
The train route is converted from meter gauge to broad gauge, so there is no train connectivity at present.

Road
Bus services are frequently available to various places in Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Pondicherry states. From Chennai the route to Chidambaram is Pondy, Cuddalore and Chidambaram.
