The temple is situated in Sarahan Town and about 180
km away from Shimla. It can be reached by road very easily from Shimla
and from other parts of Himachal Pradesh. Jeeps and taxis are available
from Shimla. Buses, both private and run by HPRTC are available. From
Shimla, take National Highway 22 till Jeori. Jeori is only 11 km before
Jhakri. From Jhakri take a right turn and climb up nearly 18 KM to reach
Sarahan.
Air
The airport closest to Bhimakali Temple is Jubbarhatti in Shimla, which
is 198 km from Sarahan. From here, hire a taxi or take take a bus to go
to Sarahan.
Train
The nearest railway station is at Shimla. However, a narrow gauge line
connects Shimla to Kalka, which is 96 km from Sarahan. So, tourists can
come as far as Kalka by train.
