How to get there:

Air : Nearest airport is Jolly Grant, 42 km.away in Dehradun district.

Rail : Haridwar, on Northern Railway's broad and meter gauge lines, is connected to major centers in the country by train. Some important services are: 9019/9020 Bombay-Dehradun Exp.; 4309/4310 Ujjaini Exp. (Ujjain-Dehradun); 3009/3010 Doon Exp. (Calcutta-Dehradun); 4265/4266 Varanasi-Dehradun Exp.; 4113/4114 Dehradun-Allahabad Link Exp.; 4041/4042 Mussoorie Exp., Dehradun Shatabdi (Delhi-Dehradun). Haridwar is also connected by meter gauge services to Rishikesh.

Road : Haridwar, on State Highway 45, is connected to all major centers in the region and other parts of the country by good roads. It is a four hour drive from Delhi.

Bus :The UP Bus Roadways bus stand is at the south-west end of Station Rd. Regular services to Haridwar from Delhi, Dehra Dun (capital of Uttaranchal), and other state centers. Deluxe/semi-deluxe services operate to/from Delhi, Dehradun and Jaipur.
