One can stay at Kunga Delek Hotel, monastery's own hotel and in Gangtok accommodation is not a problem. One can find many hotels and restaurants the city itself. Gangtok has some excellent eateries. One can get the blend of Chinese, Bhutanese, Nepalese and Indian cooking. The staple diet is rice. Try Thai food, hot momos and cherry brandy.
