How to Reach
The nearest town to Hampi is Hospet. There are good
road and rail connections from Hospet to a number of major towns and cities
like Chennai, Mumbai , Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata.
Air
The nearest domestic airport is Bellary (60 km) and Bangalore is the nearest
international Airport (350 km). Bellary air terminal is connected to Bangalore.
Bangalore airport is well connected to almost all airports in India. International
flights to major foreign cities are also operated from Bangalore
Train
Nearest railhead is Hospet (13 km). Hospet is well connected to Bangalore,
Hyderabad and other major cities in Karnataka. Hampi Express leaves bangalore
daily at 10:05pm, arriving in Hospet at 7:40am. The Rayalseema Express
from Hyderabad departs at 5:25 pm and arrives Hospet at 5:10am.
Bus
Hampi is well connected by KSRTC bus services with all nearby cities.
Apart from the state run KSRTC a number of private operators operating
from Gokarna and many places in Goa to Hampi.
