Nalanda is relatively a small town does not offer many good staying options and accommodations. For better staying options it's advisable to stay at Rajgir (15 km from Nalanda) where tourists can get a number of moderately priced hotels to stay. Three Tourists Bungalows of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation are available - Tathagat Vihar, Ajatshatru Vihar and Gautam Vihar.
