How to Reach
Air: Nearest airports are at Pune (64kms)
and Mumbai (International airport 110 kms).
Rail: The nearest railway station is at Lonavala(5kms). As Lonavala
is on the main railway line between Mumbai and Pune, all express trains
plying between the two cities stop here. There is also an hourly shuttle
service from Pune to Lonavala.
Road: Lonavala and Khandala is well connected with Mumbai and Pune.
These hillstations are situated on the Mumbai Pune Highway. Maharashtra
state transport Corporation runs regular bus service every 15 minutes
between Mumbai and Pune. Buses shuttle frequently between Lonavala and
Khandala. Travelers can hire bicycles on hourly basis to explore Lonavala
or to go to Khandala.
