How to Reach

Journey from Delhi

One can take a bus or train to reach Haldwani but it is more convenient to go by train. Take Ranikhet Exp or Shatabdi Exp which reaches Haldwani afternoon and evenining alternatively. From here take a bus from the Kumaon Mandal private bus stand to reach Kausani.

The road route from Delhi. Take the route till Almora via NH24, NH87, Kathgodam, Bhowali and Khairna. From Almora, via Katarmal and Somesh­war one can reach Kausani. One can get buses to Kausani from ISBT Kashmere Gate at 6, 7.30 and 8 pm.

Air : The nearest airport is at Pantnagar (177 km) which is linked to Delhi by Jagson Airlines on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Rail : Nearest Railheads are Kathgodam (138kms).
