How to Reach

Air: The nearest airports are at Chandigarh (115 km) and Shimla (45 km). Indian Airlines and Jet Airways have regular flights from Chandigarh to Delhi and Mumbai.

Rail : The nearest railheads are Khandaghat (Narrow Gauge) and Kalka (Broad Gauge). From Kalka it is a 5 hour train journey to Khandaghat. From Khandaghat it is a one hour thirty minutes ride by road to Chail. There are a number of direct trains from Delhi, Mumbai, Howarh and Jodhpur to Kalka.

Road: Chail can be reached from Shimla via Kufri ( 45 km) and via Kandaghat ( 61 km.) and from Kalka the distance is 86 km. Regular buses for Chail leave from Shimla, Chandigarh, and Delhi. The distance from some of the major cities to Chail are Delhi (380 Km), Chandigarh(115 Km), Shimla(45 Km) and Kufri (26 Km).
