How to Reach Meghamalai
Air : Nearest airports are at Madurai
(150 kms) Trichy (190 kms) and Coimbatore (290 Kms) which are well connected
with all major South Indian airports mainly Chennai.
Rail : Nearest Railway station is at Dindigul, about
140 kilometers away.
Road : Highwavys is connected by Road with Chinnamanur
and Theni. State owned buses are also connecting Theni to Madurai, Palani,
Dindigul, Thiruchirappalli, Kumuli, Bangalore, Coimbatore and Chennai.
There are few buses which ply between Chinnamanur and Meghamalai (Timing
- in the morning at 4:30am, 6am and 10am). Since the road is very bad
and also the hill is exhilaringly steep, so it will take almost half a
day to traverse the 40 km of the road. It is always better to travel by
an Sports Utility Vehicle.
