How to Reach Abbott Mount
Rail : The nearest railhead is at Kathgodam
(163 km).
Road: There are two routes to Abbott Mount. One is NH24
to Rampur via Hapur Bypass, Gajraula, Joya and Moradabad; NH87 to Rudrapur
via Bilaspur; NH125 to Marorakhan via Kiccha, Sitarganj, Khatima, Chakarpur,
Tanakpur, Sukhidang, Champawat and Lohaghat; state road to Abbott Mount.
The second one is continue from Rudrapur to Kathgodam and Bhimtal, catching
the Padampuri Road up to the Dhanachuli Bend. The road goes east from
here to Lohaghat via Shaharphatak, Mornaula, Devidhura and Dunaghat.
