Tamil Nadu (140 km). Forest Department operates bus services
between Kumily and Thekkadi.
The route from Kochi to Thekkeday is ; Thripunithura-4
km from Kumily bus stand will reach Thekkadi Junction. From here turn
right and go straight and will reach checkpost.Near to reserve.
If you are going from Cochin to Kumarakom, you'll have
to travel via NH 49 to Thripunithura, and then continue via Ettumanur,
Keecherry, Thalayolaparambu, Vaikom, Kottayam, and then take NH 220 to
reach Thekkady via Kumily.
