How to Reach

The statue is just 400 metres away from the shores of Kanyakumari and one can reach the statue with the help of the ferry service available there. The ferry service to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial stops a while at the Thiruvalluvar rock. Poompuhar Shipping Corporation operates frequent ferry services from the shore to the rock memorial at regular intervals. 

Air: The nearest airport is at Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), 86 kms away, with regular flights to Bangalore, Mumbai, Cochin, Delhi, Goa, and Chennai.

Rail: Kanyakumari railway station on broad gauge line is situated at a distance of 1km from the port and is connected to Trivandrum. Tirunelvelli (83 km) is the other nearest railway junction.
